Print process
All artwork is custom printed to order.
Captured for the most part on medium film format cameras, the images are shot on film, processed and then scanned in California by the pro lab, Richard Photo Lab.
The photographs are printed on archival quality Hahnemule Photo Rag. The top choice in fine art printing, Hahnemule Photo Rag meets the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation, and image sharpness. It’s ideal for archival printing, weighs 308gsm, is acid-free, lightfast and resistant to aging.
Open edition prints are all digitally signed and incorporate a white border.
Limited edition prints are digitally signed, incorporate a white border, and are also accompanied by a series number and a handsigned Certificate of Authenticity to protect the integrity of each photograph. The certificate should be safely stored, separate from the original art work.
All prints are digitally signed in order to minimise our carbon footprint and foster sustainable practice. Shipping prints from our pro lab for Catherine to handsign and then ship out again, creates unnecessary emissions and therefore a greater environmental impact.
